Bias R2 has been bisected and grafted with the bottom half of EX.23. An industrial slab of metal. No anodisation, only pure raw alloy. If you scuff or scratch it, nobody will notice. It builds character. The Bias R2 top has a G-Grey powdercoat finish.

The new EX.23 bottom piece is machined in Finland, from premium Swiss 7021 Aluminium, provoding additional heft and durability. The bottom piece is raw and has been treated with Baionlenja's "Burned" finish.

The new carbon steel slab weight has a dual raw finish. First it is machined, then bead blasted, and finally machined again, to provide a raw and CD like outer face, with other faces still matte. It is fixed in place using 2 large M5 screws, in an homage to the OG kustoms. This also serves to hide the daughterboard and 2 case screws.

The Baionwave 2, spiraling inside the keyboard provides a sound profile* that is blissful, yet onerous or even sonder.

    Swiss 7021 Alu

    Machined from premium Swiss 7021 aluminium, no expenses were spared when sourcing the raw material for the keyboard.
    Heavier and harder than other aluminium grades, 7021 contains copper which enables striking forced patina finishes. However it does not develop patina easily in normal use, as an invisible oxide layer forms in contact with air.

    Raw material made sustainably in Switzerland.
