2000 series aluminium, Tray mount and wooting compatible. Small scratch at the back.

Esteemed Baionlenja Corporation shareholder,

Behold the alloy of the new millennium!

This OBJ.1 is made of top quality Swiss 2000 series aluminium. This series is special as it's main alloying element is copper. This increases the weight and hardness, as well as results in spectacular patina.

This series of aluminium is uncommon to find as it anodises poorly, contaminates ano tanks, and is more expensive due to the copper within. But the alloying copper presents opportunties that are in line with the goals of our organization.

This multicolor patina is extremely unpreditable and can evolve over time. The patina is coated with Renaissance Wax. We recommend using the same wax if you need to restore the wax coating.

Swiss 7021 Alu

Machined from premium Swiss 7021 aluminium, no expenses were spared when sourcing the raw material for the keyboard.
Heavier and harder than other aluminium grades, 7021 contains copper which enables striking forced patina finishes. However it does not develop patina easily in normal use, as an invisible oxide layer forms in contact with air.

Raw material made sustainably in Switzerland.
